Wow, this seems like a trip down memory lane!
Accusing the board of living the high life on our hard earned funds?
I thought we left that all behind after the forum days.
Questions about how important financial statements from a decade ago are??
How about how important is the fact that the USRC is still around?
Thank you to the current EB for the work you do so we can still work and show our dogs at a world level

"Our membership has grown tremendously under this administration and we have great representation that we can proudly say we support.[/quote]

I only have 2 financial statements to look at that you provided.

Membership income went down about $1700 from 2023 to 2024. When did this "tremendous growth" happen?

Sorry- I want to retract the line about taking trips on USRCs dime. That got away from me in the heat of my typing. I apologize about that one.

To me, it just seems like the real status of USRC hasn't been communicated to the membership for some time. I think whatever happens in this election, a lot more emphasis has to be done to improve membership, clubs, and events. Get rid of anything that is just for appearances (paper clubs.... any positions where nobody has heard anything from the person in years..... clean house where necessary.

You infer that nothing has been done to improve the club under this administration. I beg to differ. We have made more opportunities available for members and in promoting their dogs and the breed. The club was stagnant, not it is actively evolving and growing, continuing to increase in numbers and opportunities. Membership has increased twofold under this administration. As mentioned, we just had two new clubs come on board, and there is another that may announce soon. As we know, it is not a club until all the steps have been completed, so we shall see. Our club is represented well on the world stage, which cannot always be said under past administrations. We also do not have in-house fighting, dirty dealings, or self-promotion, which has created a leadership team that is effective, rather than destructive. These are all gains.

Because you are not involved in the action does not make it true that there is no action. Perhaps you should have run for a position so that you would be directly involved. Please consider that for the next election cycle.

As far as your "balanced Budget" statement.... with so little money in the treasury, I'd like to see USRC turn around, but we need to find more ways to get more money in. What about other ways to raise money? Auctions... Fund raisers.... seminars or workshops where the presenter could donate their time/fee and all the proceeds go to USRC?

Great, productive ideas.
